AdAvert

This program stops browser pop-up ads. AdAvert does not require you to spend time maintaining a black list of advertisements (though it does have a black list filtering feature if you prefer to filter pop-ups that way). AdAvert also stops spam from the Messenger Service that is built into Windows XP/2000.
